Dear colleagues and friends,

Summer is beginning and maybe, just maybe, the COVID-19 pandemic is enabling a return to some activities we are missing so much. For many of us, this may be the first time to travel or meet in person since spring 2020!

I remain impressed by and grateful for the work of the EAGT members and their contribution, as well for our Back Office Team. Over these last many months, this has meant continuing to provide resources, networking opportunities, and community connections. It is also true that sometimes more time was needed, and we had to change the initial plan, in other cases we noticed that revision of the existing processes is needed. I'm confident that all of the EAGT officers are doing their best in order to support our Gestalt community in this difficult and complicated times. And now we prepare for the 2021 General Meeting of Members - again a fully virtual experience. Please save the date -September 11th and join us on Teams!

We are all disappointed to not be meeting in person for a second year and are longing for that time when we can reunite safely. We know many of you have “Zoom fatigue” and may be sceptical about the ability to network virtually. I’m here to ask you to trust us, and to join us, for an experience that I think will help us to reconnect and also open new exciting ways as we have now 7 vacancies. Please show your support for EAGT community by considering coming up to the elections. All details you will find in this newsletter.

Please also see all of this detailed information in our statutes and by-laws, downloadable on our website. More details will follow, also regarding the Q&A sessions with committee members which will be offered before the GMM (we will follow the same procedure as last year).
